Akshat Chugh

Akshat ensures that contracts align with academic needs, and liaises with the Office of the General Counsel and contracting parties to ensure contracts meet academic requirements and legal requirements.

Akshat's professional career spans across New Zealand and Australia and his interests range from Research &Development (R&D), and investment attraction to public policy and international trade and strategy. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce from the University of Auckland. Akshat has experience in management consulting across the private sector, in subject areas such as public policy and regulatory strategy, and in R&D and tax/government incentives. He also has an interest in technology commercialisation and educational innovation, having spent two years working in the tertiary sector in New Zealand. Akshat enjoys working in teams with multidisciplinary skillsets, problem solving, geopolitics and trade, and fostering collaborative relationships.
